ABC Wednesday - S is for Signs and Seagulls
If you follow my Pedalogue blog, you'll recall that I went over to the Sunshine Coast for 3 days two weeks ago. While there, I saw a lot of signs. Some had strange names or silly things on them and some were quite Striking, so I thought I'd save them for our S-day. Here are just a few that I hope will give you a smile. Of course be Sure to click on the photos to enlarge them. And then at the end, enjoy the video of Seagulls on the Davis Bay Pier.

Signs but no portents, I hope.
I want to see a waltzing whippet. That would be exciting. Great group of signs!

Some of these made me laugh out loud, they are great! I'll make sure to watch out for trolls, wouldn't want to run into one of those :)

Loved the troll sign I did a quiz recently on Hyde DP - see the asnwer at http://hydedailyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/11/answer-to-november-quiz.html and you'll note that the favoourite wrong answer was trolls!
Great range of crazy signs! But my favourite must be the troll sign! Makes me wonder what the person had in mind exactly!

Oh, I LOVE your signs! They are so unique : ). I had Kaishon come over and read the Leash your pooch and Scoop the Poop one. He laughed! Happy Thanksgiving.
I love the signs. I have a favourite along Highway 101 on the Sunshine Coast. Maybe you saw it on your trip. It says "Save me a seat at the Olympics." The funny part is that the sign is covered with toilet seat covers. I have a picture of it on my blog under "Mailboxes and Signs" if you want a look.
