Skywatch Friday - First one of 2009

Hope you like this one that I took on December 19, 2008 at Deas Park along the banks of the mighty Fraser River. It was about 4:15 pm and the sun was just starting to set in the western sky. I loved how the pink and gold was reflected in the river.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy 2009 and to say that I'm looking forward to more great photos from you all. To view more great Skywatch Friday photos, simply click on the link on my sidebar.

Happy New Year to you, too, kiddo!

I love the pic, but I can tell you, I wish I were looking at a sunset over a lake in the Summer! We're in another one of those snow storms in the Chicago area and I'm so sick of it! I'm beginning to see the why going to Florida for the winter is so popular among the elderly. I must be getting old because I'm ready to pack my bags!

Hi Leslie, I think that we are almost neighbors.

White Rock for me, and it looks like we share the same sunrise, and sunsets.

came via a place I call home. How are you keeping fit before you go to UK?

I too has a motivation, I am going in July to a reunion where I was a 19 year old teacher. The students are interested to see the present me, I like to remove the "water melon" in my front.
